June 21, 2004 - Debra Lafave arrested for lewd or lascivious battery on a 14-year old student in Hillsborough County.
June 25, 2004 - Lafave faces two additional charges of lewd or lascivious battery and a charge of lascivious exhibition in Marion County.
June 28, 2006 - Lafave turns herself in to Marion County authorities and is released.
July 14, 2004 - Lafave pleads not guilty to charges in Marion County.
Aug. 3, 2004 - Lafave pleads not guilty to charges in Hillsborough County.
Aug. 28, 2004 - Owen Lafave, Debra's husband files for divorce.
Nov. 30, 2004 - John Fitzgibbons, Lafave's attorney alludes to a possible insanity defense before Hillsborough Judge Wayne Timmerman.
Dec. 2, 2004 - Authorities release records detailing Lafave's relationship with the 14-year old student.
July 18, 2005 - Fitzgibbons rejects a plea deal that would include prison time, suggesting Lafave is to pretty for prison.
Sept. 13, 2005 - Fitzgibbons requests that nude photos of Lafave taken by investigators be banned from public record. Judge Timmerman later agrees.
Nov. 18, 2005 - Judge Timmerman grants prosecution's request for a gag order on Fitzgibbons.
Nov. 22, 2005 - Lafave pleads guilty in Hillsborough and receives 3 years house arrest and 7 years probation under a plea agreement.
Dec. 8, 2005 - Marion County Judge Hale Stancil rejects a plea deal between the Marion County state attorney and Fitzgibbons.
