A new indictment charges Steven Lorenzo with distributing drugs in a crime of violence on Dec. 20 and 21, 2003. While the indictment does not name the victims, those are the dates a federal affidavit says Jason Galehouse, Sarasota, and Michael Wachholtz were killed. The charges were added Tuesday to charges alleging Lorenzo drugged and sexually assaulted seven other men. The indictment also contains a new charge that Lorenzo conspired with Scott Schweickert. Schweickert already faced a charge of distributing drugs in a crime of violence in connection with Wachholtz's death. A new indictment apparently adds Galehouse as one of Schweickert's alleged victims, judging by the date of the charge. Although neither Lorenzo nor Schweickert has been charged with murder, an affidavit released when Schweickert was arrested in May, contained the first official information linking Lorenzo and Schweickert to the disappearance of Wachholtz and Galehouse. Schweickert told investigators he saw Lorenzo kill Wachholtz and Galehouse, according to the affidavit.
