Running Late On Tax Day?

Federal income tax returns must be mailed by midnight Friday to meet the deadline. Here are local post offices offering late hours. To file for an extension of time to file - you still need to pay - call the Internal Revenue Service at 1-888-796-1074 or go to website www.irs.gov .

Tampa Main Post Office at Tampa International Airport, the only local postal outlet open 24 hours a day.

WestShore Plaza Post Office at West Shore Boulevard and Gray Street will stay open until midnight

University Mall Post Office at 2200 E. Fowler Ave. will stay open until midnight.

Clearwater Main Post Office at 100 S. Belcher Road will also stay open until midnight.

The St. Petersburg Main Post Office at 3135 1st Ave. N. will remain open until midnight.
